     Catamount Arts, the area's premier cultural and entertainment institution, has just opened in its new home. With two cinemas, a new performance space, three art galleries, brand-new classrooms, and much more, it's an exciting place to see and be seen!
     Dog lovers will enjoy the Fall Dog Fest at Dog Mountain in St. Johnsbury, Sunday, October 12. Bring your favorite pooch to the Stephen Huneck Gallery for dog games, picnics, hiking, and more.
    October 25 is the date of a very special sports day in the area. The Kingdom Challenge, a half-marathon race and a 5K race, will be held in St. Johnsbury and Lyndonville. And for fans of high school football, the annual St. Johnsbury Academy - Lyndon Institute football game will be held at 1:00 pm at St. Johnsbury Academy. This 114-year old rivalry is one of the oldest in the U.S., but this year also marks the 40th anniversary of St. Johnsbury’s Vermont State Championship team.
